The Jackalope Post is a physical envelope you will receive in the mail once a month. Each envelope will be sent out on the 15th of each month. If you join the subscription on or after the 15th of the month according to EST (Eastern Standard Time), you will NOT receive that month's Jackalope Post but will receive next month's mail.
Each envelope includes newspaper clippings, a letter from your friend, various stories, and trinkets! (these might include an illustrated print, stickers, a bloody t-shirt scrap, feathers, a tarot card, a friendship bracelet, a secret code, or other additional items that relate to that month’s theme!)
The current story ends in November, which is the "Next X Months" you are purchasing! If you wish to continue getting mail from this spooky, whimsical world after November, you may do so! I will have new listings at that time as well as information included in your final letter on how to join! After November, there will be a fun buffer month of goodies in December, and a new mail club theme will begin in January!

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
If this is an ongoing story, am I able to join and still follow along?
Yes! There is an overall story but each month is equally treated as a standalone chapter. You will intentionally feel “thrown in the middle of things” no matter if you join now or you joined from the very start. All needed information is included each month for whatever situation + mystery is happening.
When I join, will I be getting mail from previous months?
No. When you subscribe, you are starting at that month. I used to offer previous months but I ran out of my pre-made back log and the supplies used for previous months. It takes me about three weeks to craft and pack everything each month so I don’t have time to re-make previous months.
How do I know which month I am receiving when I join?
I send the mail on the 15th of every month and the cut-off for that month’s mail is on the 14th! For example, to get August’s mail, you have to join between July 15th to August 14th, then I send out August’s envelopes on the 15th. If you subscribe on July 24 (between July 15 and August 14), you are paying for August’s mail. When you get charged on August 24th, you are paying for September’s mail, and so on!
What will I receive each month?

When will I be billed?
Because this is a one-time purchase of the remaining months of the mail club's story, you are billed when you make the purchase. It is non-refundable!
Why haven’t I gotten my letter?
The mail is sent out on the 15th of every month and it takes 2-5 weeks to arrive, with an average of 3 weeks. Envelopes naturally take a long time to be delivered and The Jackalope Post mail club is non-machinable because of its wax seal. This means each envelope is hand-sorted by the postal workers rather than sorted in their machines. This is why The Jackalope Post takes so long to arrive. If you haven’t received your mail in over 5 weeks, please contact annemkelleyauthor@gmail.com and I will double check that your address is correct and send you a replacement letter for free!
What if my address or credit card changes?
No worries! Please contact annemkelleyauthor@gmail.com for any concerns regarding address or billing changes and I will resolve your problem right away!
Can I send you a letter?
Yes! Feel free to respond to The Jackalope Post like a pen pal, or to share your love with me (the author) by using the address listed on the top left corner of your envelope!
What is the suggested age range?
The Jackalope Post is rated PG-13 because of the darker themes of the world the story takes place in and the story itself. There are mentions of grief, death, murder, disappearance, kidnapping, cults, violence (such as cryptid attacks or finding blood), gore, language, and other such themes. One of the items is missing from my mail. What should I do?
Please email me! I pack hundreds of envelopes by hand and sometimes human error happens! I would be happy to send you missing supplies in next month's letter, or whatever might resolve this issue. Thank you for your patience and understanding!
