If you have previously purchased the "Next X Months" package at any time, you will need to purchase this singular December package OR the monthly subscription if you want to receive December's exclusive Veil Haven content and merch! The "Next X Months" package ended in November!
Please note the mail can take up to 5 weeks after the 15th before it is delivered because the envelope is thick and needs to be hand sorted by the USPS! The usual range is 3-4 weeks with sooner or later outliers happening in the 2 weeks or 5 weeks range. Please reach out if your mail has not been delivered by the 15th of the following month and I will send a replacement!
The Jackalope Post is a physical envelope you will receive in the mail. It will be sent out on December 15th. This envelope does not relate to the story or narrator told in the 2025-2026 portion of The Jackalope Post mail club. The "buffer month" aspect refers to the single month between 2026's mail club story and 2027's mail club story.
About the world: Veil Haven is a magical Appalachian town hidden at the edge of our dimension where everyone has powers, cryptids roam the streets, and ancient gods hover just out of sight. How do I know which month I am receiving when I join?
I send the mail on the 15th of every month and the cut-off for that month’s mail is on the 14th! For example, to get August’s mail, you have to join between July 15th to August 14th, then I send out August’s envelopes on the 15th. If you subscribe on July 24 (between July 15 and August 14), you are paying for August’s mail. When you get charged on August 24th, you are paying for September’s mail, and so on!
When will I be billed?
Because this is a one-time purchase of the remaining months of the mail club's story, you are billed when you make the purchase. It is non-refundable!
Why haven’t I gotten my letter?
The mail is sent out on the 15th of every month and it takes 2-5 weeks to arrive, with an average of 3 weeks. Envelopes naturally take a long time to be delivered and The Jackalope Post mail club is non-machinable because of its wax seal. This means each envelope is hand-sorted by the postal workers rather than sorted in their machines. This is why The Jackalope Post takes so long to arrive. If you haven’t received your mail in over 5 weeks, please contact annemkelleyauthor@gmail.com and I will double check that your address is correct and send you a replacement letter for free!
What if my address or credit card changes?

Can I send you a letter?
Yes! Feel free to respond to The Jackalope Post like a pen pal, or to share your love with me (the author) by using the address listed on the top left corner of your envelope!
What is the suggested age range?
The Jackalope Post is rated PG-13 because of the darker themes of the world the story takes place in and the story itself. There are mentions of grief, death, murder, disappearance, kidnapping, cults, violence (such as cryptid attacks or finding blood), gore, language, and other such themes. One of the items is missing from my mail. What should I do?
Please email me! I pack hundreds of envelopes by hand and sometimes human error happens! I would be happy to send you missing supplies in next month's letter, or whatever might resolve this issue. Thank you for your patience and understanding!
